WoW is Becoming More Homogenized

If this works out it will be the best thing that happens to WoW in a long time!  WoW accounts cheap This will fix a lot of issues of people stuck on low pop realms!! However we really have to wait and find out. People talking about individual server identity and stuff it's long gone from WoW and maybe this will bring some of it back! buy cheap WoW account I worry about the loss of individual server identity with the Virtual Realms. Many guilds and realms work hard at creating a certain reputation on their server. Some of that will be lost.

I see the good that could come of this... but there's also a fair bit of downside as well. It feels as though the game is becoming more homogenized.

Server identity and the smaller sense of community died in Northrend and were raised as the Looking for Ghoul tool. It was the end of an era, but the direction that gamers as a whole seemed favorable to. I love community, sell WoW account but I have kids and love being able to step into content and queue while I do other things even more.

I think this is a good change. I had hoped for a broader scale with it covering all servers, but I guess they need to protect their character services revenue somehow. This is a good move and will alleviate many population woes.

I think having all the servers on the same virtual realm might play havoc on the auction house. I do see the need to for combining smaller economies so the AH functions. The other end of the spectrum is constant undercutting and extremely high level of AH campers.  Over all I think if they manage the low pop realms well but not combine every realm this will be a positive change. That may be true, but there are many low population realms, which are basically dead and empty, but still have players on them..And they feel lonely, angry, that no one is around anymore...and if they don't have the money for transfer, and many people don't have, they will leave the game, because why would they play an MMO, if you take out the Multiplayer part..so it is a good change for most of the realms, and its a bad for a little minority.
